The Scribbler FAQ

On The Scribbler, you can draw whatever you’d like, and have your schoolmates comment on your drawings. :3

But from time to time, we have coloring contests/activities where you can color a drawn image. There’s a few options on how to color these images.

How to color the coloring book posts:

Select Re-touch on any public image.

Agree to create a separate image.

Now, you can either select the ‘fill’ option at the top and simply fill in the areas with flat colors, or you can color free-hand to create different effects.

Click on layers in the bottom right

Drag Layer 0 up to the top

Choose ‘Shift’

Now right click on Layer 0 and change it to ‘Multiply’ (You can also rename it, so you remember that that layer has the line art)

Now pick ANY OTHER LAYER to color on.

And start coloring! It won’t affect the line art at all!
Play around with the tool to discover more options. :3
